As your local Councillor I am always available to help community groups make our neighbourhoods a better place for everyone. In particular I have:

• Supported Parks groups protect and improve our parks and green spaces.
• Worked with local sports groups such as Henbury Football Club or the Riding School as they work with youngsters from across Henbury & Brentry.
• Helped our local Scout Troops with funding and improvements so that they can continue to provide the opportunities to explore that many of us treasure from our youth.
• Led the campaign to secure the Community Centre. I wrote the bids and argued our case.
• Established the BS10 Community Forum meeting every other month. 

I believe that our community has much to offer residents and is a great example of residents coming together to make things better. I will always support community groups in any way I can.
